NC Scholarship
- Be a North Carolina resident as defined by North Carolina Residency Manual
- Enroll for at least 6 credit hours
- Be admitted, enrolled, and classified as an undergraduate student in matriculated status in a degree, certificate, or diploma program at one of the 16 institutions of The University of North Carolina or at a North Carolina Community College

Smile Scholarship
- Have an interest in pursuing a career in dentistry & be a resident of North Carolina
- Submit an official transcript from the college or university most recently attended, demonstrating a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher & If you are a rising college freshman, please send your final high school transcript
- Provide 1 letter of recommendation from either a teacher
The Monica Chibuogu Nneji Foundation College Scholarship
- Pursuing Associate or Bachelor degree in a health care related program at an accredited college/university in the U.S.
- Interested in a health care career with a goal of improving health equity
- Track record of community service and academic excellence
- Demonstrate unmet financial need
- A member of any of the following underrepresented groups in the health-related sciences as defined by the NIH:
- individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups
- individuals with disabilities
- individuals from disadvantaged background
Steel Magnolias Garden Club Scholarship
- Be a graduating high school senior residing in Wake, Franklin, Nash, Johnston and Wilson County
- Have previous interest and experience with gardening and natural environmental stewardship
- Attend any college or university with a major in ecology, horticulture, agriculture, forestry, or any other environmental
The CAPTRUST Scholarship
In order to be considered for our scholarship, students must submit an essay response for each of the four categories outlined below. Responses must be 200 words or less, with a maximum of 800 words per submission.

NC HIMSS Linda Hoover Academic Scholarship
- Applicants must be enrolled in a SACS-accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program related to health management or health information technology
- NC HIMSS members (student or regular) residing in North Carolina
- Grade point average of at least 3.0
Epilepsy Reach Education Scholarship Program
- Applicants suffers from epilepsy and/or a seizure disorder
- Applicants must reside in North Carolina or South Carolina
Finish Line Grants
- Be enrolled in a North Carolina Community College
- Be in good academic standing as defined by the community college. Threshold may not be higher than a 2.0 GPA
- Have completed at least 50% of the degree or credential program (or be enrolled in the courses that will constitute 50% completion)
Penn Family Scholarship
- Be a resident of Rockingham County
- Be a North Carolina resident for tuition purposes
- Be enrolled full-time or part-time as an undergraduate student in one of the 16 UNC campuses in a degree-granting program

North Carolina Vietnam Veterans, Inc. Scholarship Program (NCVVI)
- Be a current resident of Wake, Durham, Harnett, Johnston, Franklin, Nash, Chatham, or Granville counties in North Carolina
- Have been awarded the Vietnam Service Medal (VSM) for service in the Vietnam War, or be a spouse, child, foster child, adopted child, grandchild, etc. of a Vietnam veteran (a recipient of the VSM)
Longleaf Commitment Grant
- Be a 2020-2021 school year North Carolina high school graduate attending one of North Carolina’s community colleges beginning in the 2021-2022 academic year or
- Be a 2021-2022 school year North Carolina high school graduate attending one of North Carolina's community colleges beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year
- Have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $15,000 or less as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Enroll for at least six credit hours per semester in a curriculum program and meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements of the community college
Amount is for full-time enrollment. No deadline. Complete the FAFSA.
NC Patriot Star Family Scholarship Programs
- Be enrolled at least half-time at an eligible post-secondary institution.
- Eligible postsecondary institutions include a school that is any of the following:
- A constituent institution of The University of North Carolina; A community college under the jurisdiction of the State Board of Community Colleges; A private educational institution as defined in G.S. 143B-1224; OR A private vocational institution, including Federal Aviation Administration certificated aviation training

NC Region Sports Car Club of America Scholarship Program
- Be a North Carolina resident for tuition purposes
- Be a college bound graduating high school senior with a 2.5 GPA who is planning to enroll in an accredited college program.

CR Legal Team Chairman’s Scholarship
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Be a resident of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Alabama
- Plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university in the coming Fall
Truliant Credit Union
- Demonstrated academic ability A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 is required to be eligible for scholarship funding.
- Demonstrated writing ability – Applicants must submit an essay on the topic listed in the application.
- School and Community activities – Applicants should list all school activities and unrelated school activities that occurred in the community and explain which activity is most important and why

Pearl Berlin Scholarship
- Must be a resident of Guilford, Forsyth, Rockingham, Randolph or Alamance County, North Carolina.
- Must be a graduating high school senior entering an accredited institution of higher education in the fall.
- Must be a self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or straight ally.
Amounts awarded up to $3,000. Multiple scholarships up to $1,000 OR a single scholarship up to $3,000 will be awarded each spring.
Assistance League of the Triangle Scholarship - Graduating High School Seniors
- Plan to enroll as freshmen at any of the North Carolina's post-secondary educational or technical institutions
- Reside in Wake, Durham or Orange counties
- Be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status
Scholarship renewal available to students with a college grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 and higher
Assistance League of the Triangle Scholarship - Students Pursuing Post-Secondary Education
- Currently attend or plan to enroll at any post-secondary educational or technical institution in North Carolina to pursue a certificate, diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree.
- Reside in Wake, Durham or Orange counties
- Be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status
Scholarship renewal available to students with a college grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 and higher
Aubrey Lee Brooks Scholarship
- Be a graduating NC HS senior and permanent resident of Alamance, Bertie, Caswell, Durham, Forsyth, Granville, Guilford, Orange, Person, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Swain or Warren county
- Plan to enroll for the first time as a full-time degree-seeking student at N.C. State University, UNC-Chapel Hill, or UNC-Greensboro
- Demonstrate financial need as determined by the application process; have Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Expected Family Contribution (EFC) that does not exceed the maximum permitted by the Program
The maximum award amount is $12,000 per academic year. First-year scholars receive a one-time computer stipend of $2,500. Additional funding for summer internships, research or study abroad is also available.
Golden LEAF Colleges and Universities Scholarship
- Be a graduating NC HS senior or current NC community college transfer student planning to enroll for the first time as a full-time degree seeking student at an eligible NC college or university.
- Be a resident of an eligible rural county as identified by the Golden LEAF Foundation.
- Demonstrate financial need and meet other eligibility requirements such as residency and cumulative GPA.
$3,500 per school year
Golden LEAF Community College Scholarship
- Be enrolled in a North Carolina community college.
- Be a permanent resident of a qualifying rural county that is economically distressed and/or tobacco dependent.
- Demonstrate financial need.

Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship - UNC System
- Be a US citizen or permanent resident graduating high school senior attending a high school located in Mecklenburg County and no relations to an Assistance League of Charlotte member with demonstrated financial need enrolling full time for the fall following the spring semester at 1 of the 16 campuses of the University of North Carolina System
- Must be able to demonstrate community service involvement and provide 2 recommendations, an essay, resume and transcripts
- Have a minimum 1100 on the SAT or minimum of 21 on the ACT with a 3.0 weighted GPA or higher

Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship - Central Piedmont Community College
- Be a US Citizen or permanent resident graduating high school senior from a high school located in Mecklenburg County and no relations to an Assistance League of Charlotte member with demonstrated financial need enrolling full time for the fall following the spring semester at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC)
- Must be able to demonstrate community service involvement and provide 2 recommendations, an essay, resume and transcripts
- Minimum 2.5 weighted GPA or higher

Business and Professional Women of the Triangle
- Your home address must be in the North Carolina counties of Wake, Durham, Orange, Chatham, or Johnston (but you can attend school outside these areas).
- Be a woman who is currently enrolled (full or part-time) at an accredited college, university, or institution of higher education. NOTE: Current high school students are not eligible to apply, even if you're taking college courses.
- Be in good academic standing.

- The Foundation offers many scholarships utilizing a one-stop application process. Filling out one application will check your eligibility for multiple scholarships including both need and merit based awards.

Donna Easter Student Ethics Scholarships
- Be graduating from a high school in any of these areas: Alamance, Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Caldwell, Caswell, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Randolph, Rockingham, Rowan County/Salisbury, Stokes, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes, & Yadkin
- Be attending any two or four-year college, technical college, or university
- Be in good academic standing and show proof of community service and leadership while in high school

Katherine Baich Endowed Scholarship
- Be a resident of Alexander, Catawba, Iredell, Davie, Mecklenburg, Rowan, or Yadkin County in North Carolina.
- Be under 25 years of age and be a child of a Veteran with a service-connected disability.
Financial Basics Scholarship
- Be (1) a North Carolina resident who attends or has previously graduated from an accredited high school located within the state of N.C.and plans to attend an accredited college or university within the state of N.C.to begin college work or (2) a first-year college student who currently attends an accredited college or university within the state of N.C.
- Have completed Financial Basics online at CFNC.org with a grade of 80% correct or higher. Students may re-take any questions they miss as often as needed to raise their grades to meet the minimum requirement.
- Be able to provide documentation of eligibility from the NC accredited high school or higher education institution attending if their name is drawn.
The Howe Scholarship Endowment
- African American student interested in the building arts (e.g. architecture, engineering, building trades), degree or certification
- Resides in New Hanover, Pender, Columbus or Brunswick county
NC Assist $1,000 No Essay Scholarship
- Be age 18 years old or older
- Be either
- A resident of North Carolina who is a student or a parent of a student, who is currently attending or will attend a college or university in any state within 12 months of entering the Giveaway as a new or continuing student,
or - A resident of another U. S. state who is a student, or parent of student, who is currently attending or will attend a college or university in North Carolina within 12 months of entering the Giveaway as a new or continuing student;
